About This Project

Our client, a leading North American facilities management company, spearheaded a re-imaging project for Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) franchisees across Canada. The project involved millwork replacement, equipment upgrades, and other store modifications to maintain brand continuity.

Their expertise lies in strategic phased renovations that minimize disruption to ongoing business activities. Our client understands that our comprehensive pre-construction surveys significantly mitigate unexpected challenges during the construction phase.

As-Built Measuring Services conducted surveys at over 300 franchisee locations across Canada. Our surveys included:

  1. Architectural Geometry:
    • Detailed measurements of existing structures and key project areas
    • Floor plans capturing spatial layout.
    • Elevations highlighting design, Equipment, and MEP features.
  2. Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE) Audits:
    • Assessment of existing FFE elements.
    • Identification of areas needing upgrades.
  3. Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Details:
    • Documentation of impacted project areas.
    • MEP infrastructure analysis.

Our work outputs encompassed architectural floor plans, detailed elevations, virtual tours, photo sets, and site inspection surveys.

Thanks to our meticulous surveys, the project proceeded smoothly:

  • Custom Prefabricated Millwork was installed seamlessly.
  • Equipment Replacement occurred without on-site surprises.
  • Other site modifications were executed with minimal disruption to franchisees’ business operations.
